This guest needed a trim at the bottom of the hair, then long layers were added to give more movement and body because of the thickness of her hair.
A technique called Balayage was used to give ribbons of blonde color throughout the hair while a Root Melt (creates depth and dimension within the color, creating a more lived in look). A Glaze was then applied to give shine and a “Pearl” tone to the blonde color.
Redken Play it Safe (450 degree protection with protein and moisture added) root to ends. Quick Blow Out Spray (450 degree protection, shine and 30% faster drying time) was applied. Using a 2″ round brush, the hair was smoothed and dried. “Beachy” waves added a perfect finished look!
